Do You Like to Hunt for Treasure?

You never know what treasures there are to find at the Joe Farmer Recreation Center Spring Community Garage Sale to be held Saturday, April 17 from a 8 a.m. to Noon.
Vendors will be selling furniture, electronics, crafts, clothing items, games and much more. Admission is free and there will be plenty of parking and concessions available.
Earth Fest Event at Watters Creek

This weekend, Saturday, April 10, 2010, please join us for the Earth Fest Event at Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm and Connemara Meadow Preserve anytime between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm (just west of US-75 off of Bethany Road). There will be many hands-on activities for the kids to enjoy. Activities are scheduled throughout the day.
Just prior to this event, a creek clean up is scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. Bring your family and/or friends! We will meet near the bridge on Bethany Road, west of US-75, just past the Wachovia Bank parking lot (near Market Street Grocery Store). Bring gloves, sunscreen, and bug spray, if you have them, and wear closed toe shoes. We also suggest long pants and a long-sleeved shirt. We will provide vinyl gloves, trash bags, and safety briefings.
