We Need Your Help!

Posted by rbutler on Sunday, April 29 @ 3:02pm

It is not too late to get involved in this fun community-wide event and join the fight against cancer. There will be a new team informational meeting on Wednesday May 2 at 7PM in the Club House of the Benton Pointe Apartments (205 Benton Drive, behind the Lowe's on McDermott).

Come and learn more about Relay For Life, how you can get involved, what it takes to put a team together and much more!

Relay For Life is the signature fund raising event of the American Cancer Society. Teams will come together and spend the night at the Allen High School practice field to raise cancer awareness, celebrate cancer survivors, honor cancer victims, and have some fun with live entertainment, food, games, music, children's activities and much more.

So come become part of this worthy event!

Brick Wall Vandalism

We Need Your Help!

Posted by rbutler on Wednesday, September 20 @ 9:31pm

For the last three days in a row, we have had reports of damage to the brick neighborhood border fence along Shelley. Given the volume of damage created, and that the sheer weight of some of the sections are far greater than the mild winds over the last few days, we can only assume that someone deliberately vandalising the fence.

Please be on the lookout for any suspicious activity, including people (our groups of people) walking down the alley or the sidewalk along Shelley. Please contact the Allen Police Non-Emergency number at (214) 509-4321, and the HOA directly at (972) 739-5221 if you notice anything out of the ordinary. We do not have a specific time frame when the damage is occuring each day.

We just recently completed a third round of repairs to the fence in the last few weeks, and it will be another several hundred dollars to repair this most recent damage.

Honoring our Veterans

We Need Your Help!

Posted by rbutler on Tuesday, May 25 @ 2:20pm

As Memorial Day and Independence Day approach, we would like to honor all of the veterans living in our neighborhood, and list them in the next newsletter. We know there are some, but we're just not sure how many!

If you, your spouse, or a neighbor are a veteran, please send us their name so we can include it in the next newsletter. If desired, we would also like to include which branch of the military, years of service, rank, and other notable details that you would like included (such as major conflicts, purple heart, medals, etc.)
