Social Committee Meeting Minutes (March 30th, 2006)

The meeting was called to order at 1611 Fir Harbor Ct. at 7:00pm.

Before this meeting, Yesika and Stephanie exchanged emails, and Stephanie offered to let Yesika be the chairperson since Stephanie also had landscape and was very busy with other activities.
Yesika started the meeting off by sharing ideas of having sidewalk chalk available for children to show their creativity by drawing on the cul-de-sac another idea shared was to have a table with containers of bubbles for children for amusement and to take home at the end of the day.
Yesika's to purchase enough sidewalk chalk and bubbles for the party.
Adrea volunteered to call Starwalk for pricing and possibly negotiate with Starwalk to receive a discount.
We discussed possibly serving alcohol at the spring block party to motivate people to attend.
Stephanie advised Yesika that a permit will need to be obtained through the City to close Woodstream for block party.
Yesika was to inquire about a PA system for the party to conduct business if a quorum was not reached earlier in the month.
We discussed door prizes for the spring block party. Ask around to see if we can receive donations for our door prizes.
