Landscape Committee Meeting Minutes (April 7th, 2004)

The meeting was called to order at 6:30pm at 1607 Woodstream Ln.

The following members of the committee were not present:

Discussed installation of electricity and lighting to the north and south neighborhood entrance signs.
Discussed raising the flower beds around the north and south entrance signs. The beds need to be raised about 1 foot, otherwise any flowers planted will probably never be seen. We decided it's best to wait for the electricity to be run first, since that will mean some digging in the beds.
Discussed report from the arborist we hired to give a prognosis for the trees along Bethany and the north entrance on Maxwell Creek Dr. The report recommends replacing several dead trees as well as a number of preventatives. We need to look into the cost, as this could eat up a good portion of the budget.
Discussed fence repair and staining along Bethany & Maxwell Creek. The posts in one section of the fence near 808 Maxwell Creek are leaning badly.
Discuss adding sidewalks and landscaping in cul-de-sacs. We need more information on the sewer line construction that will be happening along Malone, as it will help determine how soon we act.

Stephanie - Talk to the city, find out whether we need to replace the dead trees in the north entrance with the same size tree.
Gary - Get quote for fence staining and repair.
