Meeting Minutes (December 17th, 2002)

The meeting was called to order at 6:40pm at 1607 Woodstream Ln.

The following members of the committee were not present:

The common area along Malone was hydromulched last week with rye, and will be seeded again in the spring.
Discussed ideas for development of the city lift station lot in the cul-de-sac of Elm Spring Ct. We would like to add as many improvements as possible without increasing liability:
- Pour concrete slab and bolt two picnic tables
- Military-style cast iron charcoal grill
- Possibly a canopy over the picnic tables
Discussed change in landscape company to Perfecto Landscaping as part of an effort to reduce costs.
Discussed pros / cons of different fence types and bids for cul-de-sacs along Malone:
- Full brick - A fully bricked fence along Malone would not have a large impact on noise, and the cost is prohibitive.
- Partial iron - More attractive appearance, but still cost prohibitive - lowest bid so far is $20k.
- Landscaping - Potentially most attractive, but would require irrigation to be installed as well as more upkeep. Lowest short-term cost.
Discussed yard-of-the-month / quarter, and decided this was a Social committee task.
Discussed speeding on Bur Oak, Stephanie has already called City of Allen Police department and spoke with Shelly; A special police watch has been requested.

Stephanie - Contact a surveyor to determine exact bounds of common area on Malone.
Stephanie - Contact Sheila to research possible loan for landscaping along Malone.
Stephanie - Contact Jamie Cornelius (City) regarding irrigation sleeves on Bur Oak and Oakbrook.
Stephanie - Contact Joe at Puckett Nursery for drawing of landscape along Malone cul-de-sacs (however, Puckett's is closed until January 6th).
Kevin, Jackie, Scott - Obtain irrigation bids as soon as Stephanie forwards email bid from Perfecto.
Marcos, Tony - Obtain additional bids for cul-de-sac fences along Malone.
Marcos, Tony - Obtain bids for electrical lighting additions at North and South subdivision entrances.
Rob - Add note of caution to website about driving slower within development.
