[ Up ] Donation Solicitation Letter

To Whom It May Concern:

Based on input from our 2004 homeowner survey, the Villages at Maxwell Creek Home Owners Association has recently kicked off a Yard of the Month program. The Yard of the Month program is the HOA's way of recognizing those neighbors whose yards stand out from the rest. The extra time, energy and money these residents expend on their lawns, and the imaginative touches they bring to their landscaping not only enhance the value of the homes around them, but also foster a positive image of the entire neighborhood.

All candidates for YOTM should have:

  • Well manicured, weed-free yards,
  • Trimmed bushes and shrubs,
  • Aesthetically appealing flowers or other elements.

Each month, the HOA will post pictures of candidate yards on our web site, http://www.maxwellcreek.org/, for voting. The residence with the highest number of votes will be announced at our next Open Forum meeting, on the HOA website, and in the next HOA newsletter.

Our neighborhood contains 303 single-family homes and as a group, we strongly encourage residents to keep their money in Allen. In that spirit, we would like to offer prizes and giveaways to the winner each month that encourage our neighbors to think of Allen businesses first! Your donation of merchandise, coupons, gift certificates or anything else feel would promote your business, will be used as prizes and giveaways for the Yard of the Month program.

If you choose to donate your products and / or services, our Association would like to recognize your generosity in several ways:

  1. A thank-you by name while announcing each month's winner,
  2. One free banner ad on our website to run for 3 months, and
  3. One free ad in our next quarterly newsletter (3in x 2in).
(Please note that advertisement layout and creation services are not provided.)

We appreciate your time and contribution to The Villages at Maxwell Creek and our efforts to keep Allen growing!
