Homeowner and Resident Questions for the HOA
Landscaping / Grass Question
Posted by ksigjayt on Sunday, May 1, 2005 @ 3:22:08 PM
I have read the covenants and did not see anything preventing me from changing my gr** fromBermuda to St. Augustine. I have already begun the process in the back yard and I wanted to
ensure I am not in violation by doing so...

That's perfectly fine and acceptable, if fact I've had to do it myself on the sides of my house, since there's hardly any sun that makes it through.
I believe there's also someone on Mapleleaf Falls that's replaced their entire yard with St. Augustine.

I think it would be nice to post the pictures and names of our board members on the site. Itwould be nice to put a friendly face to the names we see.

Well, the names of all the board members and officers are online at www.maxwellcreek.org/community/hoa/ however the only picture is of myself in last year's newsletter www.maxwellcreek.org/community/hoa/committees/social/newsletters/1q2004/#annual (and the picture is old even at that).
Just wanted to add that there are now new pictures of all the board members from the spring block party online. My daughter and I are in DSC_0009.jpg, Bill Butt is in picture DSC_0013.jpg, and new board member Howard Fisher is in picture DSC_0021.jpg.Modified Tuesday, May 3, 2005 @ 9:16:32 PM
Decorative Street Lights
Posted by fletcher on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 @ 1:23:40 PM
I am interested in finding out if we can look into changing our street lights to decorativestreet lights. The adjoining neighborhood has really nice street lights and it adds
a nice touch to the neighborhood.

We haven't looked into that specifically, however I know that the cost of adding additional street lights was extremely (obnoxiosly?) high. Bill Butt did some work investigating adding additional lights on Oak Brook and Woodstream that is reported on in the January and February board meeting minutes.
